CR:X One-design Kite Racing Class
NeilPryde introduceert de CR-X. De CR-X is een innovatief, veelzijdig kite platform. Het board, dat bij dit systeem zit inbegrepen, kan van een twintip naar hydrofoil worden getransformeerd. De CR:X klasse van NeilPryde is zowel geschikt voor beginnende kiters als ervaren surfers en kan ingezet worden in verschillende weersomstandigheden.
“We are very excited about this project,” said Mike Raper, NeilPryde One-Design Kites Division Manager. “NeilPryde has a long heritage in racing and one-design classes, being the supplier to World Sailing and the Olympic Games with its RS:X windsurfing class and 49er and 29er sailing classes.”
“/n November 2015 NeilPryde attended the annual World Sailing conference as one of the equipment suppliers. We presented a series of ideas for delivering solutions to World Sailing for the evolution of windsurfing and formats for including kiteboarding within the existing World Sailing events framework, including the Youth Olympic Games and the Olympic Games. As a result of the positive response to these ideas we then developed both the CR:X one-design class and the RS:X Convertible windsurfer,” added Raper.
De CR:X is makkelijk in gebruik, veilig en licht in gewicht. De volledige set bevat drie kites met een totaal gewicht van 25 kg. Hierdoor is de set makkelijk in te checken op vliegvelden.
De set bevat drie, three-strut kites in drie verschillende maten, een control systeem en een convertible kite board.Vinnen, pomp en travelbag zijn ook inbegrepen. De volledige set is een ideaal platform om de surfer te ondersteunen in zijn progressie.
